CBRNe

EpiShuttle provides quick isolation and transportation of infectious patients and protects first responders and first receivers from cross-contamination.

Key Advantages

Superior Patient Care

The EpiShuttle allows monitoring and advanced treatment to be performed during transport, including emergency procedures like intubation, IV and oxygen line insertion.

Safety of Health Care Professionals

The EpiShuttle provides a completely sealed transparent barrier between the patient and the health care professional, preventing any cross-infection.

Cost Efficient & Reusable

Transport vehicles don’t need to be disinfected after use, saving time and money. The EpiShuttle can be used over and over again because of our validated disinfection procedures.

Safe Medical
Transportation

The EpiShuttle plays an important part in preparedness procedures in case of CBRNe incident. It is a robust and sealed unit that allows quick isolation and transportation of those who have been exposed to CBRNe agents.

The National CBRNe Centre of Medicine in Norway has deployed the EpiShuttle to all five university hospitals in the country.

When to use the
EpiShuttle?

The unit acts like a sealed barrier between the person inside and the environment. When a patient who has been exposed to CBRN agents needs to be transported, the EpiShuttle will protect the first responders and receivers from cross contamination. It is also possible to treat the patient during transport if the need arises.

In case there is a patient with a highly infectious disease like Ebola, SARS, MERS etc, the EpiShuttle provides safe isolation and transport of the infected.

Negative Pressure Mode

In negative pressure mode highly infectious patients and contaminated individuals exposed to CBRN agents are isolated in the unit. Air tight seals protect the first responders and healthcare professionals from cross-contamination.

Positive Pressure Mode

In positive pressure mode vulnerable and immunocompromised patients, burn victims or healthy citizens are protected from hazardous environments. In case of a biological or chemical attack, compromised individuals can be quickly isolated and transported to a place of care.
